Recently I just changed the front brake components, everything was super glazed. After changing the parts, I could stop great

But I also realized that now my emergency brake was locked up. After getting the emergency brake working again, I have no stopping power again

The drum pads in the back are paper thin(I have the parts, just been busy) Could this be why I cant stop that good? I thought that rear brakes are 10% of actual stopping power?

I think rear brakes account for about 20% of braking. Although with rear drums 10% may be about right. That may not sound like a lot, but remember if the front tirs are doing 100% of the work, then then they will be ovrewhelmed pretty easily.

How did you fix the parking brake (what was wrong with it)? If we know that it may be easier to pinpoin the problem. And how much of a difference in braking are we talking about here? 2 feet? 50 feet? Is the pedal pressure any different? Specifics are really important for fixing brakes.

I don't know if you can afford it, but now would be the time to get some rear discs. Start in a junkyard, get all the parts, and then replace the pads. That will help a lot. I think you will just need the rotors, calipers, hub, and maybe the proportioning valve. Easiest thing to do would be to find a shop manual online and compare the part numbers. Anything different needs to be swapped.

I would say its about a 20ft stopping difference. The pedal is softer now.As for the emergcy brake, It just got stuck one day when I pulled it during a repair to my car. I pulled the drums and cleaned the mechanism in there and it freed itself. I have considered swapping the drums for discs, I think they will come from a 94-01 integra? but I have a few other things on my list before that

You might still have an air bubble in the brake lines. Try to flush more fluid through it and see if that helps. Also new brake parts do need to time to bed in and mesh with each other, so things might just improve if you do nothing. I'd still try to bleed them a bit more though.

Brakes from an Integra will work fine. It's the same suspension and hub so it'll all bolt in.
