Tein is a good set up for coilovers but what about camber, control arms, sway, etc. Tein is limited in product whereas Omni has almost all of it. I have also asked Tein why they don't make more products for the suspension and a rep told me that some time in 2007 or 2008 they will have a lot of new products in the line up but for now Omni is the way to go. It is not as expensive as Skunk2 or other brands but the quality is as good if not better than other companies.

What I was talking about with tein is the multiple springs and shock/strut combinations where you can get an almost infinate combinations of ride height, rate and performance...easy to dial in for an individuals preferences...

true but it is also limited on the system whereas Omni has a little bit more of adjustment for the rebound and compression cycles, Tein doesn't have that. The real difference between the two is TEIN easy to adjust and very little time spent, OMNI more advanced but allows for more adjustment but more time as well.

Yeah...I will agree with that...
They way I have always looked at it is this... Tein is good for the first car that you want to 'mod' the suspension to, besides the 'spring cut'. It allows people to cut their teeth on suspension dynamics without messing up to bad. Then when you get really good at designing your system...which is usually when your ready for another ride, you move up to Omni. I wouldnt recommend Omni for a first timer whose is still learning what shock rebound, compression rates, progressive rates...etc are. But once they got that down pat...you know what you need and more important what you want and how you want the car to act. So you get exactly what you want without wasting any money. More money saved is more money for... ![]()
