As for the washing. I always hand wash, twice a week or 3 times depending on the weather and quick detailing in between. Using the lint/fuzz free cloths I've found that using quick detailing spray works great. And then a quick wax. I over do it on the wax but hey, there's nothing wrong an almost radioactive shine ;p Armor all on the interior, dust the vents vacuum the carpet and seats. replace air freshener every other week. Engine compartment, Ill use simple green or a degreaser along with power washing. be sure to block up all the holes in the firewall and bag up your intake, battery and dizzy. let the degreaser soak in if you don't or haven't done this in a while. While ive got the power washer out I like to hit up the wheel wells too. Then I hit up the chrome with polish and all the abs plastic with Z-14 Plastic Magic Cleaner & Polish. Great stuff!

So yeah that's my routine.
Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuudddeeeee.... Thatr is some serious OCD. I'm lucky if I was my car once a month. And I haven't vacuumed it at all this year. I think the last time I gave my car a good wash was in the fall maybe? The paint sucks anyway (on top of the accident damage), so I really don't care how it looks.

Actually overwaxing is not good. Don't over wax, as it will eat away the clearcoat over time.

hahahaha, Yeah I am goin overboard on the waxing. Should probably cut back a bit. I have issues with keeping my cars clean. here in the desert your car can be spic and span clean before you go to bed and when you wake up in the morning you find it covered with a nice layer of dust and dirt its like someone coated your car with cinnamon. Hence the constant cleaning.

I usually wash my car with AUTO GLYM its expensive, but it does the job really good, i have a black car so its a pain to wash all the time as it streaks. But the best job is have those wet rag things and a buffer to wax your car with. Also my favourite to clean the inside is to use cherry scented dashboard cleaner as it does wonders especially cos the dashboard is stupidly big.... But yeah, you can an AUTOGLYM valet kit and i think its about £40 from Halfords and £70 from Honda dealerships. Best bet is to look in your local car shop as they do them on the cheap... Anyway hope this helps (K)
