Any thoughts on mods i should do? just bought the car about 2 months ago. 120K on the odometer, but that's broke. engine runs great, a few rust spots on the body. any engine swaps that work really good?

well do you want to go for big power or fun streetable power? big power, go for a t3/t4 turbo kit with a built bottom end, port and polished heads with upgaded valves,springs, and retainers, and injectors, use hondata em. should be good for about 300whp. streetable fun use high compression pistons (about 11.5:1 comp), cam, valves springs, and retainers and again use hondata em. then you decide all the supporting mods like exhaust and so on.

well kinda a little of both. i want some ponies, but still ok with gas. obviously not gonna get both, but a good medium would be nice. and i've already decided on the hondata. i just need to get the money.

I would swap it, drop it, build it, turbo it =).... A good motor swap would be a B series engine either b18 or b16 depending on your preference.. If you have the money for it I say go ahead and throw a B18 in it.. But if you're kinda tight on budget get a B16...

i was figuring from the cheaper side of it. drop it, build it, boost it with out a swap. i have seen many very fast d16's. i had a b18b1 swapped 94 civic and it was very quick for what it was. i was going to do a ls vtec boost build. it was a good start but i grew tired of it. so i switched platforms.

it might be a challenge for ya but it can be done ive seen a super fast d series del sol so it can be done... but i mean i'd rather have the b18 in it personally =) lol that or b16
