I have an 08 Civic EX and was just wondering how much the first service costs from a dealer. They said to bring it in when the oil life gets down to 15%. This is my first new car so I'm a noob with this stuff.

The Honda dealership I got my car from, I didn't have to pay anything for my first service and that was in Cerritos.

your first oil change should be free as a complimentry oil change.

Cool. I've never had a new car before so do I need an appointment or anything or can I just go down there? Also how long does it take?

My guess is that you would have to call in and make an appointment because most dealerships are really busy and your more likely to be able to get in within a decent time if you make an appointment.

Get an appointment. It's a new car, so most of that stuff should be covered under warranty.

with Norm Reeves you don't have to make an appointment. just drive in. thats what I did and it only took them 30-40 min.
