2000 Civic Si CD Player?? - HondaClub.com

I have a 2000 Civic Si. It does not have a factory CD player in it. I am looking to get one for it.

My question is:

Did the CD Player in the Si's have "Si" written on the face of it anywhere? Someone was telling me that theirs had that actually printed on the face of the deck.

Please let me know if this is true, and if anyone has one for sale that will fit my year car.

no it didnt have anything on it it just was the regular cd player in any honda nothing fancy.

and you can get ahold of any Stock honda cd player with anti-theft at a dealership if your willing to put that money down.

or you can do like I did, got a 02 accord oem 6 disc in dash cd changer and throw in there

i should have a connector for a cd player i think all of them do even my 95 had it.

I mean it's not like it's that hard to wire in any cd player........but then again this is something I do

You are gonna pay more for that OEM crapper than a decent aftermarket deck. Seriously save yourself some cash and bring your audio up a level with a decent deck, you can pickup a decent pioneer for 120 bucks if you know where to look.
