If that's an IRL motor, that's worth about 50K and is a 3.0 liter N/A, and redlines at 12,000 rpm. If it's F1, it redlines at 19K, also makes 800 hp with 2.0 liters N/A tuning, and no, you can't afford it. It costs more than every vehicle in Honda's current lineup combined.

Hey, that would eat the new Challenger, Camaro, and Stangs and spit them back out... Thats tight they should really work on getting a street legal one and how to get them mass produced because after that I think that a lot of muscle car guys would think differently about imports..

Hey, you guys read that article in Car+Driver last year. It was a caption at best but it was a protype drawing of the new NSX, and its rumored to have a dohc V10. The article mentioned FR, or F-awd layout.

Old news. Have you seen the prototypes that have the S2K body?

The reason (that I've heard) that Honda doesn't build any RWD cars or V8s is because thy think it's brutish (the best word I can think of for American overindulgence). Mind you I head this before the S2K. The Muscle cars are the epitome of what America stands for: in your face, stand up for yourself, you know, a cowboy. That's not what Honda wants to be. I still think they can pull off the V8 car just right so it's a Honda. And I think the next NSX will prove that.

...And only lasts about 1000 miles before it needs a rebuild. They need to fix that before they can sell it to the masses.

That could never be sold to the masses. It would end up like an NSX. Way over priced but have alot of power.
