k-pro is supposed to be a long ways away at this point, something about the DBW throttle and imobilizer.

I have heard it is possible to use the e-manage for engine management, but as far as I know nobody has tried it on a NA 06+ Si yet

TOV went to Hondata and had a custom flash made for them, but unless you have connections and lots of $$$ that really isn't a good option

I didn't know they had a turbo yet for the new Si

The only kits I know of right now are the Greddy and AJP kits

Its a shame the new civic si's have been out for a couple years now and they still don't have that many aftermarket parts available to us, but yet they are always coming up with new things for all the other cars especially the scions. And I personally think that the scions won't last very long, there is just something about them.

Well there is one reason for this. Costs.

Most tuner dollars are spent buy young guys ages 16-19. I think it was about 65% but cant remember the exact figures.

Anyways...the companies that make the aftermarket parts usually wait a few years before putting a lot of products out there simply because the majority of thier market is unable to afford the cars the parts go on. Once your make and model is about 5-7 years old and can be found on the used car market for 5-7K, then you will notice a ton of parts.

Like right now there is a ton of parts for the 96-2000 body style civics...when you check into 01-05 you see less available and 06+ there is even less.

They are only playing the waiting game...and the good companies are producing stuff now and running it through tests so when the time is right and all the bugs are worked out they will mass produce and hit the market

The Full race turbo kits are fully customed by a preformance shop. Idont understand why they are supercharging the civic si...i mean for 7k more damn with 7k i can easy surpass the hp and tourqe in my si by far yea might only beat me to 1/2 makr in the 1/8 but thats hit and the 0-60 maybe ut seriosuly...honda flat out needs to make a awd turboed civic to be able to keep up factory vs factory agianst the other car companies....dont ya think?

The biggest things holding back the Si are the FWD platform and the lack of engine management.

The car was designed to be a good daily driver with good gas milage and good handling. Power is decent, but Honda did not set out to make a drag racer.

Why don't you understand S/C the Si? I think that combined with some good tires and the new Koni FSD suspension (coming soon) would lead to an fantastic daily driver that is also great at autocross and on the track. It could do pretty much anything except go really fast in a straight line.

Personally I think the Redshift S/C would be the best option for the Si, since it should add some needed low end power, and give good gains at the top too.

Really, I think once Koni, Redshift, and Hondata release their products I don't think their is much left.

btw, in case nobody else noticed the RDX and Si coupe wheel bases are the same, powertrain swap anyone?

Exactly...people need to understand that you can not have a 1000 horespower car that gets 40 mpg and runs smooth in city traffic...with air, abs, srs...etc!
