hi, i own a 1994 honda civic crx del sol. I brought it over from AMerica to Italy and now i need to sell it, the only problem is I dont know if its a Vtec or an S or an SI...There is no further information in the title..so, where can I find this information, maybe using the VIN? Or maybe something specific characteristic about the car ???
i know this sounds ridiculous, but the papers i had were never returned from the Italian Motorisation authorities. (DMV italian). Thanks. Dawn |

if you post a pic of your valve cover i'm sure anyone can let you know. or if you look and the oil cap is in the front of the valve cover then it is a S model. if it has power mirrors and power steering but doesn't say dohc on the valve cover then it is a SI. if the valve cover says DOHC on it the its the Vtec model. i hope this helps

vin number will tell you where the car was manufactered, what factory, chassis code, and trim.

LOL, slow down dude. You are telling her to find the VTEC solenoid, but what if she doesn't know what to look for? Might as well tell her to look for a flux capaciter. lol I still haven't found mine!!
The VIN will tell you everything you need to know. OR post a pic of the engine bay.
