Post Engine conversion?

Hey there! I have 1.4 litre engine in my civic, It's a bit slow for me, I was thinking of putting the 1.8 vti version in it!
Is this a wise idea?

Does anyone know what sort of price will this cost? Will it be easier to just buy the 1.8 vti civic instead? The thing is i don't have much money
