It's alright everyone! I've sorted them!

They don't scrape anymore!

All I did was roll the arches a little and they're fine

I'm pretty sure you can rent a fender roller. I would have someone who's done it before do it though.

the reason why I say that is..... you could dent your fender or crack your paint.

205 40R 17"x on my '95 civic (7.5" wide rim)... I will be replacing with 215 40 17" next summer... after looking and looking, I think they should be OK no rubbing (stock springs)
