Well you have opened a big can...

The best are really DC, Greddy, HKS, etc. Nopi.com makes they exhaust systems and they are exact copies of the Greddy units...without seeing the nameplate you can not tell a difference in appearance and sound is VERY similiar!

What you really should ask is what type would work on your car.

A normal engine with out a turbo I would go with T-304 full stainless steel 2.25 or 2.5 inch.

If you have a turbo you would go with a 3 or 3.5 maybe 3.75 inch.

Now that you know what to look for, decide what you are willing to spend and shop around. Find your best price and then go to these people because they will pricematch and give you an extra 10% off!!

Body Kits, Turbo Kits and aftermarket performance parts for sport compact cars

Definately stay away from the junk you see on eBay for $99. Most of them a 4+ inches so there is absolutely no backpressure for gas scavaging and say they are stainless when they are not.

They lower end brands are Pacesetter, Megan (yep its spelled right...making money off of Mugen!) and Vibrant.

The really best advice I can give you is to go to a show...find a car like yours with the same motor...find the sound you like and ask them what brand it is. The same style and even same dimensions will produce different sounds by different manufacturers.

Oh and welcome to the club!!!!

sweet, another 07 Si owner

is it a sedan or coupe?

anyways, it depends on what you want,

what sound level?
are you willing to sacrifice quietness for performance?

right now the FG2 options are slightly limited, and FA5 options require a slighly different install, thats why its important whether you have a coupe or sedan.

then stay at 2 inches diameter...something like the greddy has a good turbo like sound without the tin-ish rice rocket sound

If you want all out power and don't care about it being really loud you could look at the AJP 3", Hondata has a dyno of it

Reflash - K20Z3 06/07 Civic Si

as far as ones that are loud, but not really loud like AJP I've heard of the Vibrant and the Greddy (especially the Ti) are pretty good.

Skunk2 is also a good (but very loud) exhaust

greddy would be his best bet then...a friend of mine had a problem with a weld leaking on a vibrant system...

I dont know anyone who has one so I can not really give you a first hand opinion. I have heard of them and heard both good and bad things.
