I have a 2000 Si. And my car is originally from some middle of the country state where I guess there was alot of salt or something in the air. So my motor mount inserts are really eatten up bad. My question is should I replace them with stock ones, upgrade to the urethane, or go solid. And if urethane, what are the benefits? And if solid, what are the draw backs and benefits?
Thanks. -Jon |

Solid is good for hard core track only because it will really rough up your daily riding...so unless it is a trailer queen I wouldnt use this!
Urethane will not deteriorate like stock and is stiffer so power transfer is quicker with less waste due to motor twist ...this is the best option for track/street and daily driver use.Stock is just to make the ride as smooth as possible...this is just so granny wont lose her blue wig!!! ![]()
