ok well i have a b18a longblock, the only thing that i have with it is a obdo intake mani, and injectors..the dizzy is on its way.
this is the story on this motor i picked it up off of a trade( i traded my complete nitrous setup with some cash for this longblock) i was told that this motor was rebuilt, and since the rebuild there was only 600 miles put on it until a rod bolt had broke...imediately the guy turned off the car when he heard a knock...i never too the motor apart to see for my self yet, but the guy said that when he took it apart that there was no damage...the reason that i am wanting to sell it now is because when i got it i realized how dumb i was for getting it because i dont have enough money to put it in my car...because i would need mounts, tranny, clutch, flywheel, fuel rail, and all that other stuff... but i am going to sell this motor and finish what i had started in the first place...my zc. give me offers.... i would like 300. please pm me or reply to this thread.. thanks, zack |

If you still have that motor, I really suggest you open it and take a look at the bearings on the crankshaft and pistons cause thats the noise I heard on my motor and when I opened it my bearings on both were obliterated and if it ran like that long enough it could have grinded down the metal that the bearings cover. If it has this type of damage then you have been ripped off cause that motor would be useless. Sorry to tell you.![]()
