Angry 95 honda accord need sound upgrades

I have 95 accord sedan and I want to revamp the stereo, everything is stock and it's time to replace it. This is my project car it's been through hell I also want to change the seats, dash, and engine eventually but it rides good. Any ideas on HU and speakers and maybe a sub. I don't want to spend more than what the car is worth. Help

in ca. it is called Kragen but in other areas it is called either Checkers of Schuck's. I am a manager at a Kragen where i live just to let everyone know. Also the company owns other small businesses on the east coast but want them to keep the name. Sorry about the history lesson but our stuff is good quality and cheap in cost check it out.

I have Polk speakers in my S and my friends really enjoy Alpine headunits. It depends on how much money your really looking to throw around.

alpines are nice and so are eclipse head units. if you want highs and lows without a sub polks are the way to go. otherwise eclipse and kicker speakers are great. you need 6.5's in the front and 6x9's in the rear. have fun!

Alpine Head unit. alpine components. depending on how much bass u want. do a kicker sub, maybe a comp or comp vr to off start small.

Thumbs up Cheap but Good

A pioneer head unit doesnt have to be the best but u probly want at least 2 outputs if u plan on future upgrades. And then some pioneer 280 or 300 watt speakers either 6/9 or 6.5 whatever u have. That should sound way better than stock for highs at a pretty cheap price.and subs u pay for what u get.
