look at my car profile i had the same car, and my system was loud as hell and i only spent like $450. i had more highs then an EV's and more bass then 2 JL's

i got kicker k7s in the back of my coupe wit cheapies in the front and a jensen HU in the front that i got on sale .. it sounds pretty good when i set most of the power to go to the back becuz the front ones rattle the door panels
.. i love the k7s in the back thou they sound really good.. they have alot of bass... the only thing is on rock songs that arent 2 bassy it doesnt sound the best but its okay if u listen to mainly rap/hiphop

i replaced my stock speakers with sony explods good speaker for the price about 60 for the 6x9's and 50 for the 6.5's

personally, I get a big kick outta putting together kickin systems from "junk"... well - good used parts anyway....

alpine head circa 1986 FREEEBEEE
alpine Flex350 amp $100 (5 channel WHOHOO)
boston acoustics 4x6 FREEEBEEEE
boston acoustics 6x9 $150 (only new component)...

serious compliments on the sound.... mucho fun.... sold it - now im starting over LOL
