Default bass cut out

when my subs are turned way up, when the bigger bass parts in a song drop, the whole system cuts out for a second. i asked a friend about this and he told me to get bigger wires from the amp to the subs. i was wondering if a capicator would fix it. im running 2 12in xplods and a 1200watt xplod amp. anyone know the simple solution to this?

A cap might help but, you will probably need bigger wires. What size wires are you running at the moment?

YOu will probably need to get the monster cables with the capacitator and and maybe a second battery depending on how much is going through your main battery

I know Evan and I know (for the most part) about his car.

I don't think he needs a second battery with only 2 subs and one amp. I would say larger wires, a cap isn't necessary but helpful, and a battery upgrade. I stepped up to the Optima yellow top (just don't get the D51 for the Honda) and it's been great!

I had the smaller Optima that is fit for the Honda's and it had this funny little breather hole in it. My battery is mounted in the rear hatch area and one day the battery shorted and was spewing acid all over!!!!!! Real nice for a DRY cell battery.
