Default need an amp

i was looking into new amps because my old sony xplod 600 watt isn't doin the job. i have two 12" subs that i'm looking to power. my friend has an m/a audio amp on two 12" subs and it seems to hit really hard. its an 800 watt amp. i was wondering if anyone knows anything about m/a audio and if they are any good. i want something that will last awhile and that will hit pretty hard. thanks

With my last set up I had a MA Audio HC2502 (2500 watts of bumpin power) 2 Channel High Current Amplifier it was hooked up to (2) MA Audio P120xL 12" subs man they rocked.

Maybe I'm a little partial -- I like Alpine and JL Audio.

You could get a good deal on the Alpine MRP F600 which would put out 300x2 or you could bump to the JL Audio HD Series HD600 (same output).
