Keyless Entry - HondaClub.com

I was thinking about buying a new head unit for my 2002 Honda Civic Ex. I recently heard that the keyless entry remote is somehow tied into the factory installed radio. So, I was wondering if I put a new after market head unit into my car will it interfere with the use of keyless entry?

I have an 02 EX and replaced the head unit and had no problems...

my friend had similar need, he didnt have trouble after he installed it
