Default Pioneer Subs and amp

I am looking to down grade my system in my car b/c of the newly installed Carbon Fiber deck lid. I have pulled out my 2 Alpine type R 12s and amps and put them in my girls Camry.
I am going to get a Pioneer D2 double din NAV and I am unsure about one quality 12 and amp. I can't have alot of bass but I am looking for the sound quality factor. Does anyone know anything about the Pioneer line up? I was looking at this amp and sub.

Pionneer, Alpine, Fusion... all great companies. The ones to stay away from are Sony (XPLOD), JVC and Rampage (by Audiovox).

Everyone has their pref but none of those companys are bad. Anyway to answer your question Pioneer has a great line-up of products, so you didn't go wrong there asfor sound quality your audio tunning is gonna be the most important here, It depends on the way you want it to sound & the componets you have vs the watts rating you stuff is putting out! Careful tunning is the major difference good sound & great sound. If you need any help with that just send me a message Ill be glad to help

Coil problems come from too much power going into the coil he needs to turn his amp down retune the Db level of the LPF or get an amp thats max power is less than his subs!
