I don't think you are looking at anything fancy do you? Then, stay with what Atoche said. Get 5 channel amp, replace the speakers and add a sub or two. that should be much better than what you have.

Brand wise, I would say Alpine .. good headunit, good speakers. Just remember good audio, starts from the head

Well all you said you wanted was the Ipod connectivity a new head unit and double DIN receiver. So disregarding all the other posts about subs and speakers. Get yourself an Alpine Head Unit no buts. They are teamed up with apple to make the best Ipod Compatible units for not too shabby of a price. I know lots of Units can be Ipod compatible but for the quality and price not much can compare. All you will need is the adapter connections from a local well known audio shop for the Ipod adapter and then I would seriousssllyyy recommend getting a SINGLE DIN receiver. I completely agree with Kia Winters on the fact that it gives you a nice little space to hold things and It doesn't look bad at all.

dude the best brand out there for stereos is Alpine and it has been for about 6 years now
And the best brand out there for Subs since last year is TREO
and there Amps As well And if you donr trust me just type in TREO on google and check the subs

they rank number one in the world
but the best dosent come cheep

I am selling the HONDA FActory OEM DVD controller from my odyssey which can be installed in the TL double DIN? IF you only want the Stereo- which plays all my Ripped MP#s and CDs perfectly? Bonus if you feel the energy for a project( or find a good AUdio installer, you could install the whole DVD sustem TOO? If you are interested check out the item poset on EBAY.
