Default removing factory deck

hello i wanted to install this new deck i got for my 98 Coupe honda accord.. can someone tell me how to start removin the deck because im totallin lost i dont see no screws...please help

Are you talking about the trunk lid?

im talkn about the indash to take out the factory deck i dont knoe where the screws are at..

There are 2 screws at the bottom of the black plastic where the deck is and then 1 behind the clock. you will need to pry the clock out, be gentle and use a cloth under a small flat head screwdriver.

how do i pry the clock out, is it with a little flathead but from the outside or the inisde

If you don't see Screws look for "screw cover" you know those little circle things. If you don't see any of those it's problay snap in pieces, take a flat head cover with rag (so you don't scatch your dash) and wedge away.

Screw driver wrapped in electrical tape is also a good solution, also a tad bit smaller than with a rag.

i own a 2005 civic ex. does anyone know where i can get a schematic of how to remove the head unit. its the first honda ive ever bought so please 4give my ignorance. it apears as if i have to disasemble the entire dash to get this thing out. any help would be appreciated.

Every true car enthusiast should have a hynes or clinton manual for their car to overcome such challenges.......Don't be cheap they're only 20 dollars at your local autoparts store.....

ok first disconnect the plasic peice where the e-brakes are atTWO screws in the arm rest then youll see two screws where the brakes used to be remove them and the black plastic should slide right off the you will be able to see the screws holding the radio and the black plastic thing right underneth it remove them and the radio should slide right out
