If you gonna go out on speakers you need to do unit first... I got like 5 pioneers in my house I just keep buying other iones thast are better....Alpines are in my accord and in my wifeys acura.... It all depends on what you want out of your stereo..... And it gets quite pricey....

Yeah i agree with the fact that if everything is the same it will sound better. In my old car i had all pioneer stuff. However i really like alpine also it is really nice. i have a friend who is runnin all Alpine and that **** is awesome. But yeah definatly spend more on your head unit and do it right. Thats what i decided to do in my old car and it really paid off.
