I am trying to 'help' my 93 yr old mother-in-law enter the codes. She says she has the number but was not able to enter them. I had successfully entered the codes a few years back but can not remember what the trick was (or whether there was a trick). I can not just drive over to figure it out since she lives ~100 miles away. All was fine until her battery went 'dead'.
Does anyone have a picture of the owners manual? Thanks in advance. Bob |

I made the visit to my M-I-L's and caught up with the manual instructions.
It said to leave the radio on for an hour and it would give you ten more tries. I asked her if she had done that. Answer yes, but I am not sure the question was understood. Since I had a need to get on my way, I took off the battery cable for a second or two and then tried again, same error code. I then removed it again and left it off ~ 2 minutes and tried again. Message said Enter Code, did that and all was well. I then let the radio "self tune" the programable buttons, set the clock, and I was done. Bob |
