Still you have to get around the programming that tells the car not to start without the clutch pressed. That will be a pain.

but that's what the by-pass module thing is for though isn't it?

cuz everywhere i've asked always brings that up about having to by-pass the clutch, and that's why it'll be more expensive

Yeah, you will need a by-pass. This really isn't what I'm into and I've never worked with remote start (and I don't want it). It's up to you, just do your homework and get all the details worked out.

Just past experience..... A friend of mine went home one night and had to use his tranny as a park brake cause his e brake wasn't holding. Long story short he forgot it was in gear. Started the car and it slammed into the brick house repeatedly cause the remote start kit he has tries to start the car 4 or 5 times.
So by his remote start he had to put his car back in the body shop for a new front end.....Just food for thought when wanting to put that on a stick.

well my neighbor parks in the stall beside me at my place and his car is stick and lots of times when i get out to start my car, he remote starts it...i could just talk to him about it i guess, but the biggest issue i could see would be the fact that it's a stick, but like i said i don't leave it in gear i just use the e-brake...i've had the car for a year now and for only about the first 2 weeks i left my car in first....untill one morning when i came out to my car at my gf's place at the time and my car rolled back on her driveway and stopped about 3 inches from her sisters car haha...but mind you i was kind of an idiot not to use the ebrake to though cuz it was a pretty steep driveway

Heck no. You will only need another battery if you have a bunch of audio/video equipment and run it for a long time without running the car (ie a show). The alternator will handle the slight load of a sub just fine.
