In my eyes you don't have to be slow to be a ricer. As well as you don't have to be fast to be a racer. To be a racer all you need is to know how to drive your car.(for the most part)

We are all ricers b/c we drive imports. Well at least thats what the american guys say. So after I let them read my license plate while still having throttle I like to tell them they just got beat by a ricer.
Oh and if you guys are wondering I HATE THE WORD RICER. It is a stereotype that gets turned onto anyone who visually modifies a car for the most part.

Well to be able to drive it decently well you need to be able to know the car a little bit. Need to be able to work on it too. If you can drive that all goes down the drain when you tell me your mechanic does everything to your car.


To me ricers are all show no go. Or someone with a big mouth and when it comes to track time they don't put out the numbers they say they do. I don't consider you a ricer because your cars have the balls to prove it. Specially that Accord.

man what i pretty much hate are american muscle besides few of them, i also hate when some of my friends come up to me and they are being smartasses talking about he cars , but they dont even know what a turbo looks like. but i think at some point we will all end up being at least part of ricers even when we are racers now

To me it has nothing to do with how or what you drive. Even if you don't know dip squat about cars or driving, if you are humble and willing to learn, you are halfway to being a Racer. Ricers are headstrong, stupid, and refuse to admit they are wrong. The most famous Ricer right now (in my opinion) would be Fernando Alonso. He got a big ego and know he's been put in his place. Everyone who has responded to this thread thus far is a Racer in my book.

I didnt know u were into F1, man i love F1 but i agree with you just because he was diving for a batter team than he is now doesnt mean he knows a lot more.

You should see the kids I go to school with. I live in a wealthy area (don't get any ideas I pay for all my own stuff) they all sit here with their big ego and run their mouths at school. But either A.) Never touched a wrench in their life. or B.) Never show to back up their ultra ego.

Thats b/c they were never taught any different. My dad taught me A LOT when I was a kid and thats why I do my own work. I was taught to do everything yourself b/c you won't be as happy if someone else does it.

Are they kind of rich asses , because close to where i live there is a small city but only for rich people and i just hate to talk to them because they are all being smart and everything just because they have money i hate that kind of people or they have good cars with turbos and everything but they had it all put on in shops but never touched anything with the engine
