2007 Accord Sedan




The latest in the seventh generation sedan, the 2007 Accord Sedan, is all about grace, excitement and agility. There are eight different trim levels available to choose from. Each version is characterized by its own features that suit the needs of customers with different tastes. They are available in a wide range of price so as to suit the pockets of all Accord fans.

The various trim levels available are the LX, EX, SE V-6, LX V-6, EX-L V-6 6MT, EX-L V-6, the value package, and the special edition.

The new Accord owns a lot of unique features from its earlier versions. The exterior of the seventh generation Accord Sedan was revised with new rear end styling, daytime running lights, and LED taillights. Heated side mirrors are available for the UZ EX models. The V6 models became the special attractions because of their Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA) and Brake Assist. The V6 models also feature the 17” standard wheels.

The interior now looks more alluring with the added improvements in the appearance of the steering wheel and the gauges. The shift knobs are redesigned to suit the new automatic transmission models. The 2007 sedan also offers manual transmission in its latest versions. To empower the already existing communication system is the updated GPS Navigation system and the revised maintenance minder system. Another cool feature of the 2007 sedan is the ‘cool blue metallic’ color version.

2007 Honda Accord Coupe

The various trim levels available for the Accord Coupe are the LX, EX/EX-L, LX V-6, EX-L V-6 and EX-L V-6 6-Speed. The major difference is in the make of the engine. The first two levels are equipped with in-line 4-cylinder engine capable of a horsepower output 160hp @ 5800rpm and the last three levels are provided with V6 engines, capable of yielding 244hp @ 6250, and the respective torques are 160lb-ft @ 4000rpm and 211 @ 5000 rpm.

The LX and the EX/EX-L are powered by 5-speed manual transmission and 5-speed automatic transmission whereas the LX V-6 and the EX-L V-6 are powered by 5-speed automatic transmission. However, the EX-L V-6 6-speed is powered by 6-speed manual transmission.

The interior is powered with deep-bolstered seats and front, front side, and side curtain airbags to ensure safety. The steering-wheel-mounted controls and the well-mounted gauges enable the perfect steering without any distractions. The Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System is equipped with the high-tech voice recognition system. You speak to it; it will take you in the right direction, change the track of your CD and perform various controls too! It’s not a joke, guys!


2007 Acura Models

The 2007 models from Acura display its thematic approach to the design of the cars. The new chain of Acura cars exemplifies the spirit of competition. The brilliance of Acura’s innovation is again proved by these new cars that are faster, nimbler and more powerful than their predecessors.

The following are a few among the latest arrivals from Acura.

2007 Acura MDX



The 2007 Acura MDX concept was unveiled at the 2006 New York International Auto Show. This is a four-door sport utility vehicle and features a wider body and longer wheelbase. The new MDX has been equipped with an all-new and the most powerful engine among the Acura members. The 3.7L V6 engine is capable of throwing an awesome 300HP and 275lb-ft of torque. Added to this powerful feature is the all-wheel-drive system and the brilliant suspension tuned at the Germany’s Nurburgring racetrack.

The noticeable feature of MDX is its ability to resist rear collision. MDX is capable of withstanding the rear collision up to 50 miles an hour, an achievement over its competitors, such as the Cadillac SRX, Lexus RX400h, and the like.

This 2nd generation MDX from Acura, along with the Acura RDX, will be the first Acura vehicles that pass the Acura Quality Line, a quality control and verification process adopted by Acura alone.

The new Acura MDX beat the Acura TL as the top selling Acura vehicle in the United States.

2007 Acura RDX




Though Acura named this small SUV as ‘RDX’, it is antonymous with danger. The NHTSA crash test awarded the RDX a ‘5 Star rating’ for driver and passenger frontal crash and front/rear side impact tests and a ‘4 Star’ for its rollover.

The Acura RDX claims the title ‘Acura’s first compact luxury crossover SUV’. This entry-level is creating tough competition to its competitors such as the BMW X3, Lincoln MKX, and the Land Rover LR2. The compact body looks like the Honda CR-V, but it has been modified with a lot of modern features.

The RDX owns the credit for using Acura’s first turbocharged engine. Other advanced features include the i-VTEC, all-wheel-drive system and the dual balance shafts. The engine is capable of delivering a 240bhp @600rpm and a torque of 260ft lb @4500.

The all-aluminum body features the Advanced Compatibility Engineering (ACE) that is capable of protecting the vehicle from collision. There are six airbags provided in the RDX of which the front bags are equipped with dual-threshold, dual-stage technology that is capable of adjusting the deployment speed and time depending on the degree of the collision. More safety is ensured by providing the head restraints and the seat belts that are equipped with pre-tensioners and force-limiters.

The interior of the RDX is worthy of appreciation. The standard leather seating, automatic climate control, and the moon roof adds comfort while driving. There is a lot of entertainment offered by the seven-speaker audio system that is featured by a six-CD/DVD changer. If that is not sufficient, you can enjoy the benefit of the free XM Satellite Radio service for three months!

2007 Acura TL




The 2007 Aura TL is a modern near-luxury executive sedan from Acura marque. The front-wheel-drive TL owns a powerful V6 engine capable of delivering superior horsepower output. This mid-sized four-door sedan possesses an impressive look with a powerful chassis. These features make this model more popular in the league of performance-focused cars. Added to these power-yielding features is the entertaining experience that is made possible with the help of the latest electronic additions in it.

Acura TL possesses the label of the ‘second top selling luxury sedan in the USA’. The TL comes in two variations- the standard TL and the performance-oriented TL Type. The standard TL is equipped with a 3.2L engine capable of a 258hp output whereas the TL Type-S has got a 3.5 L engine that is capable of a 286hp output. There are major modifications done in the engines of the standard TL 2007 model. The engine is re-tuned to give a more balanced driving environment than its earlier versions. Added to these are the well-advanced dual-zone air conditioning, power door locks, and an efficient music system with six-disc CD, DVD-Audo and XM satellite-ready AM/FM radio. WMA-and MP3 compatible playback, Dolby Pro Logic II, speed-sensitive volume control, and lastly a wireless cellular telephone system equipped with Bluetooth technology- these are the attractions that call for the attention of a luxurious traveler.

2007 Acura RL



The new Acura RL is a four-door top-of-the-line luxury sedan that was rated as the No.1of the ‘Top 10 Safest Vehicles’ by the ForbesAutos.com in July 2006. The rating was based on the comparison of 230 different popular passenger vehicles of the world.

The new Acura was modified to a lower level model considering the popular demand for a cheaper simple version of the model. Thus, the new Acura differs from its previous model in its optional navigation feature and also the absence of real-wood dashboard and the active headlights.

The most important feature of this model is its engine efficiency. Powered by the 3.5L V6 VTEC engine, it is capable of throwing a 290hp. Another special feature of this model is the Super Handling All-Wheel-Drive (SH-AWD) system that offers better dry weather handling and stability in wet weather conditions. With this facility, the AL is capable of giving 100% rear-wheel torque and thus offers the best traction. No doubt, this is the perfect vehicle to go for a drive in the curved roads without any worry of its performance.

To add to the wheel control and the handling is the RL chassis that is featured with the front double wishbone and rear multi-link suspensions. The speed-sensing power rack, the pinion steering and the appropriate body structure add to ensure more suspension. The braking system is powered by the advanced technological features such as the high-friction brake pads and the Anti-lock Brake System (ABS).

The new Hybrids from Honda

Make way for the hybrids- that is the latest mantra of the car manufactures such as Honda. Yes, they are proving to be hits on the roads with their extensively researched technology to meet the modern standards on the road. The emission-less (comparatively lesser than the conventional vehicles) hybrid technology worked wonders for Honda, inspiring other car companies to follow their footsteps in producing more innovative hybrid cars suitable for every need.

2007 Accord Hybrid



Why to hesitate if you get a hybrid that is economical and does not compromise on performance? The Accord Hybrid has anyway proved it on the roads with its 253-hp, 3.0-liter, i-VTEC® V-6 engine with Integrated Motor Assist® (IMA), and a 5-speed automatic transmission. The modification of the engine is not of any extra cost; the gasoline engine is complimented by an integrated electric motor that is part of the IMA system. The aerodynamic 16-inch alloy wheels are always ready for a challenging ride. These features, along with its Advanced Technology Partial Zero Emission Vehicle (AT-PZEV) fuel emission rating, necessitate no comparison with other vehicles.

To add comfort while driving, it is equipped with automatic climate control system, leather-trimmed interior, and heated front seats with an 8-way power adjustable driver seat.

2007 Civic Hybrid



Civic hybrid is a hybrid version of Honda Civic Sedan. This hybrid model also earned the AT-PZEV rating owing to its revolutionary contribution to the environment. Honda offers extensive warranty to all its hybrid components. The batteries are offered an 8-year/80,000mile warranty. Moreover, the old batteries are exchangeable for the new ones at the dealers.

The additional features of the 2007 Civic Hybrid from its predecessors are the 4th generation IMA, a high profile camshaft in the 1.3L four-cylinder gas engine, and the third stage of i-VTEC and Vehicle Cylinder Management (VCM). The VCM performs a significant role by deactivating the cylinders during deceleration and at steady speeds and thus let the engine operate with the electric power gained in the batteries.
