SLOW DOWN @ store crosswalks !!! - HondaClub.com

simply put... crosswalks at stores are NOT for racing !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i was walking out of the grocery store and a very immature teenager (was probably in his 20's, but behaved like a kid !!!) sped across in front of the store right where we were about to cross over to the parking lot.

if I had kept walking into the yellow-line-infested crosswalk as normal people usually do assuming the cars will yield to peds, this guy would have killed us !!!

i don't encourage the vulgar/physical expresssions I gave this guy or the near butt-beating I almost inflicted on him if he had come back, but...

SLOW DOWN at crosswalks !!!!!

Did you just say butt beating? I would have called it a ****ing *** kicking.

I have seen those type of people and I have actually had a confrontation with one for the sake of a woman and her young child.
The guy was speeding through the parking lot and had to slam his brakes not to hit them. What pissed me off was he threw his hands up like it was there fault for using the crosswalk.

I see that all the time here on campus. However since Public Safety is everywhere, most people have to go slow anyay. I think being a driver around here is worse though, b/c people will just pop in and out of wherever they feel like without looking at who's coming (I almost never use the corss walks, but I do watch to see where the cars are). I almost got hit about a month ago. And here's what gets me: THE GUY SPED UP AS HE WAS COMING AT ME!!!!!!!! I was wearing my steel toe boots, I should've kicked his car (yes I was that close).

Pedestrians always have the right of way around here. No I wasn't on a cross walk. I'm pretty good about when I run across, but this guy hit the gas when he saw me(I could hear it).

I hate pedestrians too. I would have had plenty of distance to get across. If he wasn't doing 45.

lol butt beating?? sorry just funny. but yes, i'm 18 and that is just rediculous to speed through crosswalks. Little kids walk through there all the time in front of their parents. Man if i ever hit a little kid with my car i think i'd have to ill myself for it.
