80 mph in theory. We haven't had enough room to hit that and our advisor refuses to let us go back to the dragstrip (the last time we went the President of the club ran the car into a wall).

80 mph is what they calculated for that transmission and the spur gear we have.

Drag racing isn't what this car is about. Every time I got out of the car, I had a bruise on the outside of my right knee from the shifter, a bruise on the inside of both knees from the steering column, my tailbone was bruised, my neck hurt (well other people's necks hurt. I headbang too much), my hands ached, and my arms were dead. This car grips like crazy and beats the ish out of you. All of those injuries were from bracing myself in the car or being thrown around in it. Matt got out of the car and he looked like he got a hickey from the harness.

Neither. You'll just lift the inside tire and spin out. The springs are too soft, but they are the stiffest we have.
