Yes weight isn't a 'bad' thing its not great. Being a light import means you can change direction quicker, alittle less stable, but thats easy to fix with suspension. While your not going to get a mustangs with a v8 much lighter for the same price to fix the stability problem in a AE86 for example. Personally I'd rather be agile than planted.

Driving a heavyweight and a flyweight are two very different experiences. I prefer to be a bit in between. I don't want a super heavy car, but I don't want anything too light. Too light can become a hassle on our crappy roads. However less weight means your ability to get out of trouble goes up with your ability to get into trouble. I think I'll keep my relatively light Silvia. Lots of ways to get in trouble there!
