I have a 91 Accord that was lowered with coilovers. I had to replace the upper control arms three times in two years with a need for a 4th time! Will springs cause less stress on the upper control arms than coilovers? Or is this an inherent problem with lowering the car? Is there a company that sell HEAVY DUTY upper control arms that will last longer than a few months? I tried several that claim "heavy duty" status! Please help as I would hate to restore the car to stock heights! Thanks, Charles

I think your probably using coil over springs and not full coil overs. You will need special shocks to actually make your suspenstion work correctly and probably help much of the stress to your control arms. Try to Google upper control arms for the Accord.

Tein holds this very good name with all thing suspension. Eibach might make ground control coil overs for your car. Koni is another reputable brand. So many good companies. Do some looking around and post the companies who make a kit for your application and we can further assist you from that point.
