Hi,
My Accord'96 was damaged (hit and run) and I don't have any collision coverage, hence, fixing it myself. I need to replace bumper and left fender. I found a match (same color) in one of the junk yards but they are quite far away, so they will send it to me. Now my questions: how difficult is it to replace a fender? will I need any special tools? does anyone replaced a fender - can share the experience? I already checked how the fender is mounted and it looks like it sits on a dozen of screws. Is it all or maybe I'm overlooking something? I'll appreciate any input on the topic. Thanks! |

It's just a ton of screws and there are gonna be some in your door jam as well that are tricky to get off. It takes paitence if your not gonna get a Helms manual (15 bucks at any parts store) to help you along.

repair manuals will have some or all the info you can use to do this or check out other accord forums and see if someone has a full pic break down...It is just bolts and screws you have to move in a certain order. Good Luck
