Well, mine is a different body style, so I dont know much. Have you tried the simple stuff? Check your rubber seals for breaks, any visible rust spots or holes, ect. The best idea I can come up with for you, is to pick a sunny day and spray your trunk with a garden hose. If you do it just light enough to get it wet, but not enough to soak it, you may be able to pinpoint where the water is comming from. Hope ya get it fixed

Hi bestman550, I've seen quite a few water leaks in 90 to 93 Accords and it has normally been the taillight seals. What I did was actually silicone where the seal mates to the taillight to create a perfect seal. The best thing to do is to fold down the rear seat and have someone in the trunk with a flashlight while you spray water with a garden hose all around the trunk area and even underneath, wheelwells etc... and you should be able to see the leak from inside the trunk. Is the power antenna sealing properly? Is the trunk seal leaking? Maybe the vehicle was in a collision and a panel had to be relaced and the repair shop didn't seal a panel properly? Also, look for water marks which appear after water has evaporated in the trunk and try to trace the line/mark the water made. Sorry I can't be of more help. Please let me know how you make out, good luck. As far as the mildew I don't know of a non chemical way, maybe vinegar and water?

Let me know if you have any more questions.

You know, I've heard the same thing about the taillight seals. It might be best to take it to a shop if the leaking problem is that bad. That could cause damage to your interior that would cost a lot of money to get fixed, and this might just be some little tiny thing you are overlooking. Also, watch out for any black mold. That stuff can make you really sick, so take precautions when you clean out your trunk.

Ive ordered outers and inners of the seals from Majestichonda.com in the parts section you have to look around but they have almost any part you can ever imagine , replaced mine insteead of using some silicone simply because when I want to replace one cause some punk hit it with a rock or something i dont have to go through cleaning off the metal and completelly resealing with silicone , but ive heard many people doing it that way , also because the seals arent exactly cheap ... hope you get it squared away ive not had one leak since i replaced my outer seals inners havent leaked since new soo .... good luck

i had a 91 accord ex and i also got water in my trunk. i replaced the taillights and the trunk molding. i also sprayed the trunk with rhino lining to make sure it wasnt coming from the wheel wells or through the bottom. the car was never in an accident so i ruled out the panels not being sealed right. the car got water in it till the day i sold it. i couldnt figure it out. if u find out where its coming from and its not what i replaced let me know. im still curious about what put whater in my trunk

Advice!! Dont use silicone for resealing. Its sweats the tin & rots very quickly. Ive seen several cases were silicone was used around sunroofs etc & tin was in bad shape. This sound dodgey but get inside trunk & close lid down (make sure you've someone with you!!! Get person outside to spray trunk with water. Shine a battery lamp around & i bet you find your leak. Usually better to remove trunk linings so you can have a good look into corners etc. Dont get locked in lol

You should use enisu (sp?) grease on all seals at least once a year. Your local Honda dealer can get you some. HandAccessories also has it for order.
