Hi Accordian,
I have CL7r recently changed to a SPOON ECU (2nd hand). The VTEC didn't engaged in during high REV. Spoon ECU engages VTEC at 5500RPM, i try several rev past 5500, 6000, even 8800RPM...still no VTEC. Help needed! My troubleshooting done so far:- 1. I Had the a few test run with a ECU Scanner attached to the spoon ECU OBDII, we realised at approx 5500RPM, the ECU shows VTEC ON!. But still din feel any high cam at the engine level. 2. We check the VTEC wire between the ECU and the VTEC sensor for connectivity, it seems fine. 3. My Engine originally had VSD Voltage sparks amplifier installed, will that be an issue? 4. My Car mileage is 40K only, could it possibly be the VTEC solenoid up the lorry? |

i think the voltage sparks amplifier you installed in your engine was not installed properly, try to check the wires and the better install them properly ...
