I used to own a 93 accord (5 months ago), and to be honest, it was decent on the highway......about 350 miles per tank which is equivalent to about 26-28mpg but when it came to driving in NYC, i was averaging 16-19 mpg. I had aem intake, nology hotwires, denso iridium plugs, new fuel filter, oil change, and no cat. Maybe thats why my mpg wasn't any better, but don't expect much. My 91 teg get 33 mpg, without a tune up (bone stock, 4 now)........and now life is great.

My 90 Accord LX 4dr with 4.2+ (station wagon) final drive 5 spd still gets 22/28 city/highway after 256,000 miles. 93 LX 5spd (70,000) and 93 EX auto (133,000) average about 27 for combined city/highway. Low 30's on highway at 75-80 mph.
