How hard is it to install a new a/c compressor?

Just the compressor or are you doing the accumulator and orfis tube too (like you need to when you replace a compressor)

I'm doin a compressor swap out. Mine died and I picked up a compressor and condenser from a guy whos had a 91 crx sittin in his garage since 94. He burned out the engine and hasn't done anything with it since. Anyways ill let you know how it goes. Although you have probably already done your swap out so im prolly posting fer nuthin.

Well I wont have to worry about the freon. I took the car over to Brakes Plus to get a R12 booster they stole the freon in the car and then told me that for 1200 dollars they would gladly repair my compressor and condenser. I asked them to put the R12 back in and they told me that they couldn't do that because my system was dysfunctional. I told them that once I got the system fixed I was going to come back and get my R12 back the also refused to do that as they have the right to keep anything removed from the vehicle. And people wonder why other people get shot.

I'm just waiting on my new radiator so I can do the whole thing at once.
