They really don't do a lick of good. You are better off swapping to larger sway bars.

Its located under the car in the front and the back. They are the solid black bars running from one side of the car to the other.

Sway bars connect the suspension arms and the frrame. In order for the suspension to flex, the bar has to twist, which it doesn't want to do. It's a simple twist spring. And thicker bars will flex less. Also try to look for hollow sway bars. The loss of stiffness is minimal when compared to the weight saving.
Strut bars actually do something on a car. The newer crop of cars really don't need them, but something as old as a 2000 might be able to use a strut bar. Just don't buy a strut bar that has a hinge anywhere in the middle. Those flex. And most cars do not come from the factory with strut bars. They just bolt to the shock towers on most cars.
