Exclamation Maintenance Required Light

HI ALL, I HAVE 2002 ACCORD SE 4DR, 4 CYL. GUYS WHO KNOWS HOW TO RESET THAT MAINTENANCE REQUIRED LIGHT (I KNOW IT SHOULD BE RESET AFTER EACH OIL CHANGE BUT I TRIED ONCE AND IT DIDN'T WORK OUT) . THANX FOR ANY HELP/SUGGESTIONS.

with the key in the ignition but in the off position push in the milage trip meter reset knob...then turn on the key but do not start the car while holding the knob in...manual says 5 seconds but usually takes 15 seconds for the light to flash and then go out! after the light flashes release the button and then turn off the key. then you can start the car and the light will remain off until the next mileage trip is hit

Thanks, I'll try it. before i tried the same maybe because i held that knob less tham 10 seconds.

Ya you may want to get it checked out mine was on for a wile and then they told me that there was a malfunction with an oxygen sensor
