Well First thing Look under the clutch petal , there is a small piston looking thing that the petal hits , its the actuator , if the bolts are loose tighten them ive heard of some situations when the metal bracket the actuator is mounted to is slightely bent check this out it is common on cars that have had alarms installed or main relays replaced the mechanic leans on the bracket while under the dash with the wrench taking out he main relay .... let me know if this helps , good luck man

You can also totally bypass this switch really simply. First unplug the wire harness. Then take a piece of speaker wire about 3 inches long. Strip about 3/8th of an inch of each end. Fold it into a V and place one end in one connector of the harness and the other end in the other end of the connector and you have an non-failing switch.

Dont laugh, I had a 91 cavalier that this went bad in and the switch was about $50--ugh! I took some spare wire and fixed it for free, and my girlfriend and I went to the movies!

I Really Dont think this will work on our Main Relay , But u can try anything u want , If it was me id want it proper so id take it out and resolder the board , takes all of ten minutes , buying a new one is exactly 50 bucks , so thats true , but fixing a fuel relay with a peice of wire cannot be safe , think about it , its a relay for a reason or honda would have left it straight wire , no offense " Eyes...

Let me know how u make out anyways ....
