Performance Chip

I was thinkin about buyin a better performance chip but i wanted to know what kind would be the best or if it is even worth messing with and how much it affects the performance.

before i bought my 95 accord i had a 96 ford probe gt. i put a chip in mine and all i had besides that performance wise was a cold air intake and exhaust. i raced a buddy of mine with the same car and i spanked him. he also drives pretty close to me. i never got the car dyno'd but it did make a difference. most chips will tell u it will be a 6-20 hp gain depending on what other performance upgrades u have. i looked into getting one for my accord and i know mugen makes one for both ex and dx/lx accords. that is the one i will buy if i buy one at all. however different people have different opinions so my best advice to u is just look around, but ill tell u now almost every chip u will find will say 6-20 hp gain. goodluck and let me know what u end up doing.

is your accord vtec? B/c if it is a perfomance chip will make a difference you should go with a spoon sport or a mugen you can find them on e-bay.

i paid $20 for a chip and nobody knew how top install it!!
