I was just wondering how many of you guys have taken on the 6 speed swap on the 6th gen AV6 (98-02). Also how much it cost you with parts and install.

Well I know it is apples to oranges but I put a 6 spd in my SCCA cavalier for about $3000 total...damn shame when she was totaled out!

I believe just parts will hit me for around $4500 and it is a custom job as well

Try your local junkyards...I found a tranny and just rebuilt it myself...there was a major saving!

I have been keeping my eyes open without prevail. I am actually looking for an entire front clip from a CL S with a 6 speed. I would just do an entire engine and tranny swap and install my blower and all on that motor.
