Recently, my 1992 accord has been ideling differently. It is getting warmer out, which I think has something to contribute to it. I know the alternator belt, and one of the other belts need to be replaced soon (the alternator belt is in really bad shape, the other belt isn't the timing belt, but isn't warn out, just a little old). When the car idles, after running for a while, it dips down realllll low. The one day when it was about 33C with a lot of humidity, it stalled it self 6 times. I would be driving (it's a 5spd), would put it into neutral, and come off the clutch, and the revs would drop and as soon as it went downt o 750 where it should be idelking, it was a slow descend to a stall. My dad, and school mechanic thinks it can be the fuel pump, or the vacuum hoses. I replaced the factory air intake box, with just a air filter, to help performance and of course gas milleage, and it sounds good, and it has gotten a new oil change. The plugs, wires all probably need to be done, but I don't think they are the current issue. The other day, it also corrected it self, it was ideling at about 250-500 rpms, and then it just went up to 750 and was fine for a while. When I also start using more electrical intensive stuff, such as the lights, or the fan turns on to cool the motor, the rpms really dip down as well. Sorry for the long post... but I thought I would try to list all the problems, since I'd rahter not spend a lot of money on everything, when I could find out the problem, and just solve that one for now.

I would recommend going to iTunes.
go to the i tunes store search for Honda then at the top select pod casts then there will be one that is called "Shop Talk Podcast Network" one of the episodes talks about how to diagnose the most common reasons for honda idle problems.
