Default 04 brakes

Anyone else find the brakes in the newer accords a bit annoying? The slightest tap can send mine to a screaching halt. Ideas?

I have an 2003 and didnt have that problem... I had just the opposite. I had horrible stopping times. I got slotted rotors and new pads. and now it stops really quickly. If you have a "grabby" brakes I would recomend switching to a ceramic pad. That should help with sensitivity and also control brake dust on your rims.
These are the ones I have

Default 04 accord touchy brakes...wear your seatbelt

We have just purchased an 04 Accord LX and it is vey touchy on the brakes. I plan on upgrading to poweslot rotors and Evolution pads when it needs a brake Job next. I have always had problems with warpped rotors on all my Honda's and those powerslots fixed the problem. Wife got 70k on her front set on her Civic. I also used 3m silicon paste on the caliper pins, it is the best stuff I ever used.

Default Crappy brakes

I've found them to be a little weak and was pondering upgrading to bigger roters if possible.

Hey Guys,

I have beeing doing a lot of digging into brakes for my Honda Pilot. I found this company in Cali called OC Autosports. The thing I love about this company is they seem to push the technology side. I have not received my rotors yet bcasue I just ordered them on Friday but the customer service was excellent. I am getting Black Zinc plated cross drilled & slotted rotors for my pilot.

There phone number is 714-817-0000
