manuals r quicker shifting.. is it hard on my auto tranny to shift it manually(it has d1,d2,d3,d4)

i have a 92 accord lx i like my car so i spent the money and got a h22 vtec engine and lovin it my next mod is a h23 intake manifold and some type s pistons. it cost a grip but i like my car. so its all up 2 u

I have a 1994 coupe dropped in h22a too. If you have an auto just shift to D3 until you hit 7200 rpms and then slide the shifter up to D4.

Jdm H22a $1000, ($150 chipped p28 well worth it) the way I looked at, you could easily spend close to a grand on mods and maybe gain some modest amount of horsepower and torque or get 45hp to 55hp over f22b1 and build on top of that. It's not rocket, but a nice reliable ride with some power.

thats cheap for the h22 every where ive seen one they run about $1800-$2500 lol i guess i gotta look harder, yea the h22 pratically stock aint that fast but u spend less money on that thing and no f22b motor will catch it

its totally up to if you feel like starting over and having car payments for a few years go for it, on the other hand with the money you will be using on your car payments you can fix up the car you already own. but its really up to what you want.

if you truly love your accord, stick with it.. haha make it unique if u can.. show it off, you could drop a s2k engine. would make it a great sleeper
