h22b or f22b? - HondaClub.com

i have a 94 honda accord lx coupe.. i havent tore it down or anything to look at the block so i am clueless.. i have been told my car is a h22b but in my service manual it says its a f22b and sum ppl have told me its a f22b ... but i wanna kno for sure.. does anyone kno wht it is for sure?

if im not mistaken, the h22 is only found in the prelude si models unless you got the car after an engine swap. my 93 accord had an f22 untill i swapped an h22 into it.

check the engine code stamped on th block to the left of the header

Definitely an F22. That's whats in my 96 Accord
