Default Help finding parts 89 Accord

Hi all. I just got an 89 Accord. Besides a ding or two, it is mint. Perfect interior. Great paint. This was a cherry of a buy at $3800. Now I want to mod it a little, however I can't seem to any really cool body kits. Also, I would like a little more horsepower.
Finally, Is there another car out there that body kits and engine parts are interchangable?
This is my first post so treat me like a NOOB. Also my first Honda, and I am very much liking this car Thanks in advance

I dont have one myself, nor have I ever, but from what Ive learned on other accord forums, you can modify the 91-93 body kits to fit. There are some accord specific forums that I visit with some good information in that area.

1. Ebay
2. Never underestimate the power of the Junk yard, especially for some of the lesser essential things you want.

Yeah, i also think 3800$ for an 89 is quite expensive. What was the condition of the body and motor?

I just picked up an '89 accord in pretty good condition with 160k on it for $400. I replaced the timing belt myself b/c previous owner said it was never changed ($30 for belt...my labor). Car runs good, power windows, locks, mirrors, moonroof...still wouldn't consider this vehicle worth $3800. I couldn't imagine Blue Book value being that. Are there even mods for this year vehicle? Not that I would buy any, this is a beater car, good on gas miles, and longevity.

i totally agree with Benji01, you can't beat Ebay or the junkyard! Also, I'm agreed, that does seem like a bit much to pay for a 89.
