I'd just make sure the engine is in good condition, and that you don't spray below 2-3k RPM, and you don't hit the limiter with nitrous on
You will want to get a bottle heater to give you optimal pressure, and therefore optimal power

Just do a compression check on all cylinders and if every thing is up to par I would go for it. Just don't over rev. Have fun!

Go ahead and pic up an extra O2 sensor because after a few shots with no mods or remapping you will probably fry your O2 sensor.

My O2 sensors never gave me a lick of problems when I sprayed it.

i'd build it up some to get max power and decrease the wear and tear more on the motor.. i'd put a new fuel rail and new injectors so you can have max fuel flow goin through the motor and watch over revving it so you dont blow that motor =D

How much power does your engine put out stock?
and don't forget a window switch, probably the most important part in a nitrous system
