im planning on finally purchasing an h22a motor for my 93 accord in a few weeks and so far the cheapest clean engine ive found were roughly $1200 which includes ecu, tranny, a/c, harnesses, etc. im doing it in my driveway, but would anyone happen to know how much i will have finally spent when im finished? i would just buy a new car, but im looking for something more low profile and somewhat sleeper

i know it doesnt come with axles or mounts, i just need to figure out how much money i need to earn and yes i am doing it myself. right now my budget guess would be 2500 and i only have 2 months to finish this project or im screwed
i know my buddy is a honda fanatic and "collects" parts for random cars (mostly for his prelude) so i dont think ill have to spend much on other needed parts. i just need an estimate |

i did the same swap on my 92 accord, the people here were very helpful. i spent $2500 on the engine with everything included but i had to get new mounts and axels just cuz i didnt want used ones the axels are about 70-75$ each i spent $325 for the mounts and if u have an autozone by you anywhere with a lifetime warranty i was on a budget u dont have to save much more ur almost there i did it myself in 2days in my driveway also your gonna be happy with the swap.
