Have you calculated how many miles per galon you're getting?
Wait until you're dead empty on gas then fill up the tank and reset the trip meter on you dash (take note on how many gallons it takes to fill it up to the top on the gas pump), when your neddle is nearly empty and you get the yellow warning light that youre running out of gas, take the mileage reading ( from the trip meter) then divide the number of miles by the number of gallons of fuel that you added to your car.
That should give you a combined average
You driving style/habbits influences the efficiency aswell as the temperature and many other things. try getting an average miles/gallon and we'll see if you're really having some problems
