Why is it that its cool to have an exhaust that the cops can hear from 1 or 2 states away? I mean, its nice to have a sporty exhaust, but some of these things just sound horrible
And I've wondered why people put a huge wing, vinyls, and a fart can on their car, and then drive slow as grandma?
For example, on my way up the hill the other day I was following this civic (looked 99 ish) with the big wing, loud exhaust and everything, and he was driving sort of slow, so I figured he was just trying to get me to pull along side or something, so I downshift and pass him (1 lane each direction, in a passing zone), and there is completely no reaction, unless he was flooring it and his car couldn't get any more power out going uphill
and I'm pretty sure it isn't the same reaction as when I'm driving the s2000 (people pull over to let me by, Xenon FTW
)
I can understand passive drivers, but in a car like that
of course then a stock lexus pulls up next to you wanting to race
although I have to admit I drive sort of fast, and I drive a completely stock grey metallic Civic Si Sedan, I think having the sedan has definatly limited the amount of people who want to race me. Mostly just eclipses and a s2000 so far.
